Aloha everyone, we're now hosting our own dedicated Left 4 Dead demo server. Right now, during the demo period, unfortunately you can't connect to it without some manual intervention - the built in matchmaking system just throws you on any server available. Great for console folks, but let's face it - PC folks want more options to connect to LOW PING servers.

 To manually connect to our own low ping server (provided there's an empty slot open - good luck!), first fire up Left 4 Dead demo, then open your console (via the "`" key) and type in "openserverbrowser" and just look for GamerzSociety.com L4D.

Better yet, just bind a key to the server browser, like so:

bind h openserverbrowser

And there you go. Hopefully Valve will get the CPU consumption lowered - our single L4D server with it's demo maximum of 4 players is consuming about 30% CPU - on our quad CPU game server. Get to work Valve!
